LIVING AND WORKING SOCIAL:  Embracing Social Media in The Workplace

This Lunch & Learn Seminar covers how savvy companies are incorporating social media to effectively engage and educate employees on everything from innovation and internal knowledge sharing to revenue generation and customer relations.

Why Attend?

While 54% of U.S. companies have banned workers on the job from using social networking sites, like Twitter, Facebook and Linked In, the “100 Best Companies to Work For” embrace social media, and even go so far as to allow their employees to drive the content. Highly regulated organizations like Deloitte, Mayo Clinic, and USAA are reaping the benefits of social media. Yet, their peers are still stuck fretting about security concerns, productivity loss, and inappropriate behavior. If your company needs to get unstuck or improve its policies, this seminar offers answers.  Program participants will learn about:

Incorporating social media in the workplace successfully

Convincing IT, legal and HR executives that social media can work

Creating a solid social media policy (what to include and what to leave out)
